Three Things You Should Always Do When Dating Your Foreign Fiance.

By Art Saborio

Rules, rules and rules and more rules. They exist for everything in life. This includes finding a foreign fiance and bringing her to your country under a K1 Fiance Visa. It can seem like a simple process, yet I can tell you from experience it is not that simple. Even if you have already found someone and dating, these simple "Dos and Don'ts" will help you succeed.

Here are three critical things you never want to do

1) Free dating websites... there are many of them, do not use them. 99% of the women on these websites are not real. Photos are never real and you will find that most women will try to take money from you. If you are dating and talking to a woman from a free website, use caution. Give the relationship at least a few months before moving forward with the relationship. Send flowers to her home address. Have the flower agency take a picture of her to ensure you are talking to a real person. Usually when flowers are sent, you rarely ever hear back from her.

2) Don't send money to anyone you have not met. If you are being asked for money, 99% of the time this person is not real. She did not need your money before you came along and she does not need it now. Just say "NO" to money requests. If she does not understand, then it is time to move on to someone new. She is not worth your time. Ignore the depressing sob story she may tell you. Stop communicating with her and move on to someone new.

3) Identity theft is big business abroad. Don't give out your personal information to anyone. The more information you give out, the easier it is for her to steal your identity. Don't give it out. You need to be comfortable before any conversation of this nature can be discussed. She will know your information soon enough. You will have to provide her with all your personal finances when she goes for the K1 Fiance Visa Interview. Everything in good time.

These are the "Dos" of finding or dating a your foreign fiance.

1) Conversation is the foundation for any relationship. Start this habit early and you will build a strong relationship from the beginning. Ask all the hard questions. What does she like to do? what are her goals and dreams? Does she want children? Find out as much as possible from her. She is going to be your possible fiance. The more you know the better off you will be when she finally gets to your country.

2) Meet you fiance more than once. I know the government only requires you to meet her once in a two year period, but you truly cannot get to know someone in just one meeting. Do yourself and your fiance a favor by meeting more than once. I recommend a minimum of three times or more.

3) Do save all your trip information as proof of your relationship. Also save phone call logs, emails and anything else you can save to show proof of the relationship.

These are the first steps to finding and dating a woman from abroad and also the first steps in the K1 Fiance Visa Process.
