Hen Night Party Essentials

By Jack Wogan

It's the dream of every bride-to-be to have a fantastic hen night. We are not talking about week-ends away or entire holidays; we are simply referring to the hen night party. The success of this particular outing depends on a few important aspects.

The date of your party is vital; therefore, you need to choose it carefully. You'll probably not meet everyone's expectations but try to find out when they are available. Once you've set a date that agrees with the majority you can move on. Nevertheless, send the invitations as soon as possible so that your guests will make sure to rearrange their schedule. It doesn't matter if the party takes place much earlier than the tradition says. It's more important that all you guests are able to attend.

The number of people and their ages are significant factors so you want to have a guest list before choosing the location. If they are all young, the place you're going to will match their personalities. On the contrary, if some of your guests are old, you'll not opt for a crazy club. In this case, you might want an elaborate meal at a fancy restaurant, followed by a few drinks in a nice bar. If you have the necessary budget, book rooms in a luxurious hotel and stay overnight. They'll surely love the idea. The hotel may have a spa or a beauty salon where you could all be pampered for a while. Then, you'll definitely party for hours.

The list of activities is equally important. You could choose some games or arrange to get together early in the evening and have a few hours of relaxation in a spa. This will save some energy that your guests will use later in the night. If the spa is in a hotel, arranging for accommodation there is really an option. They'll surely appreciate it; as they'll appreciate transportation to the location and back.

You may wish to have a theme for your party. They say themed parties are more successful than the rest so give it a thought. If you decide to choose one, think of something that will suit different personalities. After all, not all your guests are alike. When you send the invitations mention the theme so that they can get their costumes in time. Fancy dresses and accessories are the essential elements of any hen party so don't ignore them. They'll match your theme but they don't have to be funny or naughty. You could go for something grand that will make your outing even more special.
